You've Got A Girl!

We got a new girl here as QA! But I just came back from Easter break and haven't got the time to talk to her yet. She's in the other part of the building, but at least there is another "she" now ^-^

Between Dream and Reality

Today we had a goodbye lunch for our Head of Office. I didn't know it was going to be that sad. He almost cried. We almost cried. Even I'm just here for a brief 4 months, and we had only a few small talk, I feel bad that he leaves.

I can only quote what one of my friend here said,

"It's so nice, and almost romantic to survive as an independent company. But soon or later we should put our feet back to the ground."

It was a dream. It still is. And always will be. It's his. It's everyone's.
But today reality strikes.

There's a Squall in My Office

You know how typical geeks look like right? Glasses.. kind of goofy looking.. not very athletic.. bad hair.. Well, we have a lot here in our office. Not much of any eye candy.

But there's one guy, looks like the replicate of Squall Leonhart (top left)! I shit you not!

I wish to take a picture of him and put it here so we can enjoy it together (girls.. guys too if you like :) But I would be invading privacy and may be called the crazy stalker girl. So I can only share the good news that yes, in this world there is a boy so pretty he looks like just jumping out of the world of video game. *drooling sigh* Not to mention he's a guru for almost everything. *more drooling sigh*

No Game For Me

I don't know why all the games that I play these past weeks were STUCK. HUNG.
No reason.
Just Stop.
There.
No game for me.
Na ah.

Does the universe ask me to stop playing for a while? (Gee.. I haven't even got into it yet..)

Game Log

I'm in the middle of creating a book log, then thinking of creating similar one for game log, and I found this site! Apparently some other people have not only thought about it, but done it! =| It's hard to find a fresh new idea which hasn't been around at all.

Hunger of Games

I ordered my NTSC Animal Crossing and a Freeloader (to play different region of game) from DVDBoxOffice. But they are so smart that they send the game first, because the Freeloader is out of stock. Right... *sigh*

I was playing Suikoden 3 before it suddenly stuck after a couple of hours. Then I moved to .Hack Infection.

I also played the classic games of Leisure Suit Larry 3 last weekend! ahah!

I haven't tried to play these many games for a long time. I guess being in the middle of heavy game environment influences me a bit =9

It's Not Fair

I got a sudden strong urge to play Animal Crossing in GameCube, and it's killing me to know that this game is DISCONTINUED in Australia. Argh.

Now I'm in the middle of ordering one from US, with Freeloader to play different region game. 5 days have gone by, and they have not even placed my order yet (which means the products have not even been shipped or left their storage).

One word.

Painful. Painful. Painful. (Oh is it three?)

When I want something this much and have to wait for so long to get it, it's simply painful. *sigh*

PS: And yes I've tried to go to every game stores in my city, and looked for it in Ebay. But PAL version is just either very rare or very expensive. I want to live in US.. Not fair.. I can now afford to buy game that I want and it's not available =|

Bathroom Moments

I have one complain being the only girl (with the addition of the receptionist) in the company. That is among 50-60 other guys.

We don't have girl toilet.. *sob*

In my building, we have one bathroom with two toilets side by side, and another toilet on the other end of the room. These are shared with the other 30 guys.

The first bathroom is a bit more private, which means there aren't so many people passing by. But everytime I go to that toilet, I pray so that nobody is in the other toilet. I would do my business really quick, and go away as soon as possible before anybody else coming.

I got pretty lucky, I don't meet people so often in this bathroom. But if I do, I'm not sure whether it's just me, but the moment becomes kind of awkward. Especially if, God forbids this happen again, both of us release ourselves in the same time, where you both can hear each other.

I would manage the timing smartly so that we wouldn't have to meet face. If I come first and am in the toilet, while the other guy comes after, I would either finish my thing very quickly and slip away before he goes out of his cubicle. Or I could stay a bit longer until he finishes his thing first and goes before I do (you know how guys are much faster on this).

I don't even have room to be annoyed with the toilet seat being up or down. I just don't want to meet guys in the toilet! Is that too much to ask? Sometimes I just want to tidy up my hair, see myself in the mirror, or wash my hand longer, without having to rush like a devil trying to catch me.

These past 2 weeks, I tried to go to the second toilet. This one is just next to the kitchen and in the middle of the lane connecting 2 main rooms. The door doesn't go until the ceiling. There's about 1-2 feet gap and you can hear the steps of people passing by (which means they can hear me too, if someone cares to listen that is).

But I found out that I'm more comfortable with this one. At least I don't have to worry about that awkward moment to meet your opposite sex in the unisex bathroom. I can stay a bit longer and be girly with the mirror (there's one inside!). So I decide not to care about the fact it is in the one of busiest pathway in the office. As long as I'm inside, hopefully nobody takes notice that it's me.

Guys wouldn't understand how important bathroom moments for girls.
